After searching and trying too many things to count these instructions worked first time around. I can't download it. I did everything you said step by step and BAM!!!!!! Also, started by manually installing KB3102810 which is an update to the Windows Update service, which seemed to help with the CPU and memory usage issues. weblink

Have been struggling for days to update a fresh install of Win 7 Pro SP1 and this did the trick. I'll go with Linux instead. For some reason, I never get a notification that the downloads are complete. I cannot believe this is legal. If all else fails, you may want to try contacting Microsoft for further assistance, but the steps in the article should get things working again. If you follow every step, follow every word, this article will fix this problem! I have had that happen but it was always resolved by restarting and trying again.Checking the event log (event viewer) can give the clues neededIf you can find someone to look
