The screen saver works now while the device is plugged in. Here's an official response from Contour dated 8/6/2008:----------------------------------------- This is a known issue with the device and is due to a keep alive signal in the unit which Vista interprets as I tried searching around for additional tips but could not find anything helpful. Display Won't Turn Off Windows 10
The correct answer, provided by someone else, is below. I tried unplugging it and letting it run on battery. Timeout (seconds) 7200 Power Policy:Disk timeout is long (Plugged In) The disk is configured to turn off after longer than 30 minutes. As soon as this joystick is disconnected my screensaver works.
I understand it's still a new os but I thought stuff like this would have been resolved during the beta test and before the released the non beta to the public. The solution is that I unplugged my Logitech Pro from its USB connection, and the screen saver and sleep functions now work. I set my screensaver for 1 minute and unplugged one USB device at a time (every minute) until the screensaver started working.

Now it's back to defaulting to 1 minutes upon power off power on, and screen saver not working. Power Options Not Working Windows 10 Help please. When I was using windows 7 the screensaver would work fine and ever since i upgraded it it will not work now.
I looked itup on the Windows 7 Compatibility site which statedinfo coming soon.Swapping it with a basic USB keyboardresolved my issue.
