Search Will Not Search
Working great until I upgraded to Win 10 before the free upgrade offer expired. When starting up, the start button doesn't work at all and computer doesn't pick up wifi network. Really appreciate helpful folks as you. Cortana Process Not Running Sometimes searching from start menu not working and only way to solve it is to kill search process in task manager. Opening startmenu and typing to seach works, but clicking on the settings icon while it is open i.e. Windows 10 Cannot Type In Search Box You should be able to us your Win7 or Win8 key respectively to install Win10 now that you did the upgrade.( I would double check this before proceeding.)
