Service Pack 2 Chrashes PC

The hotfix will eventually be included in one of the scheduled patches for the operating system.From what I can tell, the hotfix replaces the old version of Fltmgr.sys with a new check over here
It will bring you to the WINDOWS repair/reinstall menu that looks like a vista window, but not quite.5. by R. anyways.. While attempting to boot does it offer an on screen option to perform a restore or system restoration (perhaps by pressing a key such as F2)? I've pressed F8 to try to get into the system in the safe mode, but the same things happened. Uninstall any programs you don't use.. It never freezes when gaming however. Cleanout all the junk files, temporary internet files, and Temp folders. it should ask you to hit any key if you want to boot from your cd/dvd --SO HIT ANY KEY!4.
I restarted it and it came up with the screen where it wants to do windows repair or start normally. OEM versions only do CLEAN installs which are a pain and end up losing data and files, inevitably. If you meant that you were doing a clean install by "reset it back" then disregard this. New 27 May 2009 #1 Saint Guest Installed SP2 and now computer crashes ??? A number of crashes can come because of Steam. You will have to do a Repair Install. have a peek at these guys So I have access to the PC.

Removed third party softwares then factory restored using only microsoft products inc av installed all updates now even worse, for 4 days no matter each time i install sevice pack the I updated without a problem, but when I went to restart my computer, nothing happened (start->shutdown would not respond).
