Server 2003 Permissions Problem

I have not sifted through logs as yet but will do shortly. Any troubleshooting steps anyone can recommend? For the life of me I have been unable to reset the permissions to allow the gif images to work, so I replaced them with jpg versions and they now work. No big deal and it ran mostly unattended all that time.
Not sure if you are familiar with the software at all. And that might be part of the problem. Have space station modules already been replaced? have a peek at these guys I need this stuff to work with anonymous internet users.
