you are not loosing any information on your hard drive, what you are doing is reinstalling windows over windows. Clicks? On your computer boot into MS-DOS and copy it from diskette to \windows\system. I think what the other guy was talking about is the ID card in which case it actually says "last," "first," and "middle initial" under the line. No beeps lights....NOTHING. Looking at my ticket the first line says under the line "Last.....First......Middle Initial". if you have your windows 98SE boot disk floppy then insert it and then start up with it in and let it install the drivers for a cd rom.
