I am not sure what is going on here at all. I've reproduced the output of the relevant commands that I have run below: /home/chris/reso > sudo find /dev -group video /dev/video0 /home/chris/reso > glxinfo | grep -i vendor server glx vendor The nv driver, permits it for Nvidia RivaTNT, as it isn't known how to detect memory on that hardware either.
