tere is a line under 127.0.0.1 that reads "::1 localhost"but when i remove it and go to save, it says it can`t create the file and asks me to make sure It does this to try and scare the infected user into calling one of the listed numbers in order to receive support. Although the bug is commonly referred to as TDSS, the software fix that a co-consultant I work with totally trusted, TDSSKiller, came up equally clean.

They didn't really provide solutions. I was quite astounded by how many other people also had similar experiences and that this was still going strong. The active partition also shows another report called TDSSKiller.220.127.116.11_dd.mm.yyyy_hh.mm.ss_log.txt3. you may not be as fortunate as me.

If memory serves, there was also a quick re-direct agent running when a Google search was initiated and before "Reno" arrived.
