worked like a charm. I have set my browsers to no proxy and checked that the DCHP was configured correctly. Similarly, you can use the Firebug add-on (for Firefox), the F12 developer tools (Internet Explorer 9), and Safari Web Inspector tohelp diagnose network issues. A quicker way is to press the Windows key (in XP, follow this by pressing R), type Firefox -safe-mode, and press Enter.This didn't solve my problem, but thanks, it's good to Google is damn important to my work.
