At last , I know what is svchost all about. How to solve 100 % Svchost.exe (netsvcs) High Memory or CPU usage problems. Search for Windows Update service, then right click on it and select Stop. 3. Stopping windows update solved it. Check This Out
Pretty obvious where that virus originated. I get alerts to let SvcHost.exe connect to the indernet, i say yes and a "Red Zone" alert comes up asking me to alowa program that may track what i do Thus the svchost.exe process was born. I'll just manually check for updates, but it's Windows 7. I've only 5 instances of svchost running on my box - I think thats pretty good, though I feel that I could do without one or two instances.
