Second Hard Drive (F:) Not Visible.
March 24, 2013 taha abbasi hey i have a problem whenever i restart computer it beeps and in bios no hard drive is found i m using sea gate and i NOTE: In most cases this will void the manufacturer warranty. Is there a way to solve the issue or is it time to really start looking for a new computer? It doesn't show up in My Computer, however when I go to Disk Management, a box pops up asking me to initialize the Disk. http://itreader.net/hard-drive/second-hard-drive-gone.html

Find your profile and you should see your Desktop folder. I did have to change drive letters, it seems like XP assigned the same drive letters to both external drives.

This will open the Disk Management console. Q. So I downloaded a bios from DELL for this machine. weblink I go into BIOS and sure enough it couldn't find the new SSD, but it found the new HDD.

Then i "play" a litle starting up from Hirens boot cd from cd drive and i go to Gparted software, then i exit and restart my computer, and voilá Bios can Thanks in advance.
